After a rain-delayed start and a 13-inning game earlier today, we're finally on the road again to Battle Creek. We love cereal.
We're on a Route 66, but not the Route 66.
We're in Battle Creek, MI (in the 3rd inning) to see the Battle Creek Bombers play the Rockford Rivets. They are in the Northwoods Summer Collegiate League.

Stephanie and Moe Skeeter
'Bye Mr. Skeeter.
The field
Table service
A very strange between inning game, where the participants had to knock over bottles of water with weights attached their heads.
Nom nom
From the outfield
Go Bombers!
Craft beer and foosball. Perfect together.
Hi Terry!
Hi Curtis!
OK
Choose your tip recipient! Stephanie put a dollar into the "Moo U" jar. Todd opted for U of M.
A what??
A combo platter - Blood Orange Honey beer and Cheboygaroni and Cheese. This is macaroni and cheese served in an orange peel.
(say in a fake British accent) Of the list of containers from which one should not eat mac and cheese, you may eliminate orange peels.
Jeter kid comes in last on "Kids Run the Bases."
Bullpen and stands
The way to the field goes through this doorway.
Cereal shirt. CEREAL SHIRT. Sadly, it was $100 and a bit pricey for us.
Sad attempts to capture the side-arm pitcher doing his thing.
The Bombers stung the Rivets!
Stephanie liked that players from both teams congratulated each other.
